Glenelly Estate, known for its wine with a French touch, approached Inhouse Brand Architects to add a little je ne sais quoi to their wine tasting room. The award-winning interior design firm were also tasked with adding an eatery to the Estate. The end result is a warm, inviting, slightly unconventional space that draws inspiration from the surrounding Stellenbosch mountains and the legacy of French wine making.
The upgraded tasting room and The Vine Bistro ooze French charm through a unique combination of fresh and antique elements. The new interiors incorporate classic Parisian tables and other furnishings that date back to the 19th century. A variety of glass pendant and brass lights further emphasise the French-inspired design scheme. White metro wall tiles, patterned floor tiles and classic French-style wall mouldings on the bars and counters complete the overall look.
Glass foldaway doors invite the outside in, creating a spacious feel while offering spectacular views of the Estate’s grounds. You can laze the afternoon away under the pergola or sip wine at the bar while running your fingers over the map of the farm engraved into the corner.
With an obvious eye for detail and an unmistakable French flair, Glenelly Estate is simply magnifique!
